Commitments and promises

“A pretty lingerie that provides daily comfort, made with production methods as sustainable as possible. And colours to put a smile on your face!”. That’s Celine’s vision, founder of Esquisse.
A will that came true in 2016, born from this vision of an ethical high-end lingerie, lightweight yet highly durable.
Our core ethos? High standards and full transparency at each production stage: low-carbon materials and components, manufacturing locations as close as possible, go-anywhere comfort and flamboyant creativity.

SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION METHODS

Our items are produced in limited series using eco-friendly materials certified by OEKO-TEX® Standard 100: meaning they are safe for both human health and the environment.
We aim to produce as locally as possible, sourcing from France (fabrics and laces), Italy (fabrics and digital printing), and Morocco (manufacturing).
Nothing goes to waste; everything is transformed! Our fabric scraps are offered to budding seamstresses on our e-shop.

SOCIAL REINTEGRATION THROUGH SHIPPING

We’ve been working since 2020 with a logistics specialist involved in social reintegration. The order pickers benefit from a two-year contract that helps them get a stable job.
No plastic allowed: they slip your underwear in a cotton pouch (labeled Esquisse) that you can use to store your lingerie when traveling.

“Consume less, consume better”, that’s what we stand for. A lingerie that doesn’t deform, a swimwear that doesn’t pill.  
High-end and durability go together. Pursuing excellence comes at a price but you’ll enjoy your underwear for a very long time.

COMFORT MEETS FREEDOM

Because itchy lace, panties riding up, underwire bra pain… ». We’ve all been through this and enough is enough. Our promise? All day comfort and joy of moving freely!
We believe that intimate wear should first of all be about complete comfort and fitting, from model designs to material choice. A sleek shape with no wires, no pads, as seamless as possible. We only use cloud-soft fabrics and materials that feel incredible on your skin.

DESIGN INSPIRATIONS

Esquisse is all about escapism. Our designs (lingerie, swimwear and loungewear) come from ready-to-wear expertise. We add to the mix our natural inclination towards colour, drawing, photography, textures and a keen sense of fashion.
Our collections provide a feelgood escapism: lush, full of flowers and colours, scenic beauties from France or far-far away, or wild animals. All our patterns are Esquisse exclusives created by artists.
